Good, Better or Best?

People often come to me feeling tired and stuck. They ask, "How do I fix my life?" ​They think they need to wake up at 4 AM, run a marathon, or change everything overnight. But that usually leads to burnout. ​Real change doesn't have to be hard. In fact, for it to stick, it should be simple. Here are four easy lessons I teach my clients to help them feel happier and calmer. ​ 1. Change the Story in Your Head ​Imagine you are wearing sunglasses with dark lenses. Everything you look at—the sun, the trees, your friends—will look dark. ​Your attitude is like those glasses. If you constantly tell yourself "I’m not good enough" or "This is too hard," then your life will feel hard. ​ Try this: Notice when you are being mean to yourself. ​ Instead of saying: "I made a mistake.
